Another good points haul for the team.

BTCC Season 2025 – Donington Park – RACE 3

Here we are at Donington Park for the final race of what has been a simply beautiful spring day. The draw for the reverse grid wasn’t kind after the number 6 was drawn, giving the pole position to Tom Chilton. If only they had drawn number 7, Aiden would have been on pole!

With Aiden starting 7th and Charles in 22nd, it was all systems go for an attacking race if we could as the lights went out. Charles immediately gained 3 places off the line with a great getaway, before a hard charging Sam Osbourne in the Ford Focus ST took a place on lap 4. Continuing with some amazing battles throughout the race, before a skilled drive and keeping his powder dry, Charles was able to take 5 places in the last 4 laps to finish a highly credible P16.

Aiden, who was on the soft tyre for the final race got a good solid start, gained a place to 6th on lap 4. On lap 10 though, the soft tyre continued to be the day’s bogey choice and Aiden lost a place to Adam Morgan. Aiden did his best to hang in there, but the tyres weren’t quite on it and he lost a couple of places towards the end, finishing in 9th and another good points haul.

This leaves the team 4th in the Championship and Aiden in the 7th in the Driver’s Championship. Not a bad start to a new era and we will see you at Brands in 2 weeks.
