BTCC Season 2025 – Donington Park – race 2
Here we are at a sunny and now very warm Donington Park with both air and track temperatures soaring. The air temperatures was into the 20’s whilst the track temperature was almost 30 degrees. Aiden started race 2 on the medium tyre, whilst Charles went for the soft.
As we said in the headline, Charles was robbed of a decent result b y a puncture on lap 12 which left him out of the race. This was unfortunate as he had put in some outstanding laps up to that point and looked to be going well. These have been a tough first couple of races here in the BTCC for Charles with 2 incidents, neither of which he could do much about!
Aiden starting in 9th was up to 8th on lap 2, before we had yellow flags for a stranded car on the start finish straight. On lap 15, Aiden was able to gain another place by taking fellow BMW driver Daryl Deleon and kept 7th to the end. This was another hugely impressive drive at the sharp end of the field and yet more valuable championshikp points.
For Race 3, we will be starting with Aiden in 7th and Charles in 22nd, so lets see how the boys get on!!
