BTCC Season 2025 – BRANDS HATCH INDY – RACE 3
For the final race of the day, the sun remained magnificent as it had all day, but was now a real pain for the drivers coming out of Graham Hill bend as it was low and right in their eyes.
Charles started in P3 on the grid with Aiden just behind him in 5th. They both got a good start, but Aiden was under immediate pressure from Ash Sutton and Tom Ingram who both had quick cars, soft tyres and plenty of boost available.
Charles was immediately on the pace and on lap 2 was able to take the lead from Dan Rowbottom in the Nappa Racing Ford Focus. Working hard to ease out a gap, he was able to lead by 3/100ths of a second by lap 4. Lap 4 also saw Aiden being overtaken by former team mate Ash Sutton which dropped him down to 6th.
As the race wore on, Charles weas able to retain his slender lead despite briefly coming under pressure from reigning champion Jake Hill. Aiden was then taken by Tom Ingram and Josh cook to score another solid top 10 finish in 8th place.
At the front, Charles continued his superlative drive, and with Jake Hill squabbling for 2nd, he was able to extend his lead to win by almost 2 seconds at the chequered flag, and wild celebrations ensued!
That win means that both Charles and Aiden are now in the top 10 drivers standings and the LKQ Euro Car Parts with WSR team is now 3rd in the Team’s Championship.
We move on to Snetterton in a fortnight and let’s see what we can achieve!!
