BTCC Season 2025 – Brands Hatch gp Race 3

With all the action, how have we come to this, the last race of 2025? We’ve had a lot of ups, and a lot of lows this season – the lows being largely caused by the actions of other drivers! Talking of which, what a fantastic job the team have done in getting Charles out at the back of the grid after that huge accident in Race 2 caused by a Toyota. The light is starting to fade, but lets go racing with Aiden on pole and the first 3 places are all on soft tyres.
The start of lap 2 brought a shock, “Car 16 under investigation for the start”! Meanwhile, Charles was up 5 places to 17th. Aiden was then unable to defend from Josh Cookn and slipped to 2nd place before we had a safety car after 2 Ford Focus’s from Nappa acing came together.
The restart wasn’t kind to Aiden as both Ash Sutton and Jake Hill were able to get through, whilst Charles was up to 14th. With 76 laps to go, Aiden was in a great battle with Gordon Shedden and Charles was fighting hard with Daryl Deleon.
With 3 laps to go, Charles was all over Deleon, forcing him to defend before getting past him on lap 17 and then taking Chris Smiley.
On the last lap, Gordon Shedden got past Aiden as Aiden had no boost left leaving Aiden 5th . and another Charles meanwhile was up 10 places to 12th with a brilliant drive.
This left Charles 8th in the Driver’s Championship in his first season and 2nd in the Jack Sears Trophy, only 5 points behind Daryl Deleon, and only because of that incident in Race 2. What a debut season. Aiden can also be very proud after a season that has seen more than his fair share of setbacks to come in 11th in the Championship with some amazing drives along the way
The team have also had a good season coming 3rd in the Teams Championship
