BTCC Season 2025 – SNETTERTON 300 – RACE 3

Here we are with the last race of the weekend from Snetterton. It is still very windy and we start with Aiden in 16th after Race 2 and Charles just ahead in 9th place on the grid. Based on the 2 earlier races, we are up against it as this has proved to very much favour the front wheel drive cars.
Looking at Aiden’s race first, he was unlucky on the first lap to be passed by a hard charging Dan Cammish coming through the pack. On lap 5, a tremendous move saw him take 2 places to be up into 15th. In the following 2 laps, he lifted himself up to 12th and the charge was on. Not content with that, he was then able to overtake Aaron Taylor-Smith and Gordon Shedden to finish a creditable 10th place at the flag.
Charles also got a flying start and was up to P6 on lap 2 where he remained for 4 laps. On lap 6, he lost 5 places after being ruffed up, but was soon back on the pace. He was back to 9th shortly after and then made 2 nplaces on the last lap, including overtaking Jake Hill to finish in 7th place.
Another double top 10 is encouraging when you take into account the trials of the weekend – an over boost for Aiden, some gearbox issues and the advantage that the front wheel cars had. We head on now to Thruxton, the fastest speed circuit in the country and we will see you then.
