BTCC Season 2025 – Donington Park GP – RACE 2
Welcome back to Donington Park for Sunday’s 2nd and highly explosive round of the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship. Starting in a cloudy and windy pattern of weather, things changed with a rainstorm that brought out the safety car and caused mayhem.
Aiden starting 15th was hit heavily by Sennan Proctor leaving Aiden down in 20th place and with serious damage to his offside doors. Gaining 2 places on lap 5, and a further 2 on lap 6, he was definitely on the charge. Over the last 10 laps, he was on fire gaining place after place to finish in an excellent 12th.
Charles, lost 2 places off the line and was fighting back until he was hot by Aron Taylor Smith which spun him into the pit entry and dropped him down to 19th. With 4 laps to go he climbed back up to 18th where he finished the race.
Aiden’s car has suffered extensive damage with both doors needing to be replaced and it is a rush now with Willie Poole the body specialist to get the car out for race 3.
