BTCC Season 2025 – Brands hatch GP Free Practice 2
Welcome to Free Practice 2 here at Brands Hatch as Autumn is well and truly in control on the long Grand Prix circuit. The ress ar4e looking stunning, but that does bring with it some difficult driving conditions under them with the leaves being firmly in evidence in the cars radiator grills.
Despite this being lunchtime, it was still a very chilly 12 degrees, with the track at only 16 degrees. Aiden and Charles were both on the soft tyres and as a team we were able to get a lot of laps in to try and finalise the best set up we could ahead of the all important qualifying session later on.
In what turned out to be a very promising session, both cars were able to break the 1 minute and 30 second barrier for the 2.433 mile lap which is quick indeed. Aty the end of the session, Charles was once again 3rd in the standings, with Aiden 9th, There was just 2 tenths of a second between them.
All eyes now turn to Qualifying around the Grand Prix circuit where we will look to stake our claim for a top position for Race 1 tomorrow. Both the boys are very happy with the cars so let’s go for it!
